new stuff

hey! it's been a while since anything worth posting here has occurred. but here we are!

so, in April, we put out a very special very limited edition of the Danni Experience CDr for Wreck Curd Bore Gay and somehow it's not sold out yet. if you want a copy please let us know and we will go beg for them at the store we sold all the copies to.

today (Dec. 10) we are releasing the debut release by our very own Thursday McRembrandt. 8 tracks of strange man pop rock. our boy Thursday is backed by the ineffable Buzz Kompier on this release and like always it's very very limited so you better get right on it. email us.

we will have more stuff out soon. we're not announcing it yet, but soon, we will have new stuff. soon.

we're on Discogs now thanks to some guy. check it out here. maybe we will sell things on Discogs eventually. perhaps not.

I think that's it. you'll probably hear more from us next week or so.

other stuff we put out since last update

so, yeah. besides the Vaguely Threatening CDr (still available, miraculously), we've also put out some other stuff.

SPR-002 is the debut EP from SOUPSPOON, entitled "High Pressure Rhyme Schemes." this is a band formed by the cousins of the Kick Butt Ninjas to play for KBN's fiftieth anniversary show as a tribute band. instead, they skipped town and recorded this 6-song oomph-fest in a small town near the bay. which bay? they wouldn't tell us. it was recorded by the legendary Thursday McRembrandt himself, so you know it's good. it's also a $5 CDr, whaddaya think about that?
reviews: "['Watching TV'] sounds like it should be on one of those Wheelchair Full Of Old Men comps. You should send a copy to Food." -charles my mind's eye

SPR-003 is a [requested to be removed, too bad for you!].
reviews: "...can be pretty funny." -charles my mind's eye
"Trippy shit!" -eli fishsticks, the west texas revival group
"It's music, I guess." -andy, monochrome murder squad
"Not what I expected." -schraibman, mcClellan starship

and of course, we still somehow have copies of the VT CDr for $6. debut album from these masters of nerd-punching attic-core.

baby buy buy buy.
